Aaron Copland was not raised in a musical family; in fact they discouraged him from pursuing a career in music. Whilst I have loved Bruckner’s music for decades, I cannot read German fluently, and you would need to read German in order to be a true connoisseur of Bruckner’s extraordinary art.
